One Month Update

Hi friends,

We just wanted to check in with you a month later and let you know that money is still rolling in!

We do have a somewhat final tally of all of the funds raised, and it’s:

$140,121.88!!!

It’s taken us a while to get our feet back on the ground after the Herculean effort on April 2nd, but we wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who partnered, designed, printed, baked, organized, bought, donated, folded, emailed, shuttled, and took part in any other way with Bakesale for Japan.  This really was an extraordinary coming-together of folks from around the country, and we surpassed all of our goals and expectations while creating a bit of community with one another.

If we could, we’d bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies for each of you!

Thanks again to all who participated!

Feel free to check in with Peace Winds America and Peace Winds Japan to keep up with their efforts on the ground in Japan.

And it’s not too late to donate!

Best,

The BS4J folks
